Fall Color Hike in Buffalo Peaks WIlderness

Details
We will be hiking the Rich Creek and Tumble Creek trails which is a loop. The trail is lightly used and gives you the feel of being somewhere remote. I hiked part of it this summer and was amazed at all the beaver dams along the creek. Might have the largest population of beavers in the state. Lots of Aspens!!! Its a 11.7 miles RT hike with 2,068' elevation gain (rated as a moderate+ hike). Highest elevation will be 11,585 feet. This loop hike is not on Alltrails. Meet at the car pool at 6:45am or Trailhead at 8:30am. We will have a late lunch afterwards at Casa Sanchez, Fairplay.
