We will be car/tent camping at Horseshoe Campground near the Fourmile Creek and Mt Sherman Trailhead. I have reserved camp sites 18 and 19. The campground is at high elevation approx. 10,600'.

After early morning breakfast Saturday we will drive to the trailhead and hike to the summit. 4.7 miles RT hike with 1,981' elevation gain (I'm rating it as a Hard hike). It is a 5.3 mile drive from the campground to the trailhead. Normally this time of year we don't expect Thunderstorms and much weather on 14ers, but it is the mountains and it does happen. I would expect some patches of snow and ice. Bring your spikes just in case.

Carpooling is recommended. Lets work out carpooling in the comments. Bring a bundle of firewood please.
$10 per person to cover the camp ground reservation fee. You can Venmo or Zelle me.
