In a world of constant notifications, endless distractions, and always having somewhere to be, it's becoming harder to simply pause.
I've often found that my best ideas came in the rare moments when I couldn't be reached. No notifications. No endless scrolling. Just uninterrupted time to think, reflect, and be present.
That feeling inspired Pause.
A new offline gathering where we intentionally slow down together.
For the first hour, everyone puts their phones away and spends time however they choose—reading, journaling, sketching, brainstorming, planning, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a coffee.
Then, the room opens up.
The second hour is about real conversation. Meeting new people, sharing ideas, and connecting without the pressure of networking or the distraction of screens.
I've chosen Teatru Salesjani in the heart of Sliema because it perfectly reflects the atmosphere I want to create: calm, welcoming, and full of character.
