Join me on an evening conditioning hike.
This hike is a moderate 5.4 mile semi loop, with a total elevation gain/loss about 800 ft. The hike starts at the Hill Canyon trailhead. We will take the Hill Canyon Trail to the Western Plateau to the Outlaw Loop. From the Outlaw Loop we will conquer mighty Mt Elliot (975 ft). We will stop for a short break on Mt Elliot, finish the Outlaw Loop and return to the Hill Canyon trailhead.

How to get there: From 101 (Ventura Freeway), exit at Santa Rosa Rd in Camarillo and head east (away from the ocean). Drive about 5 miles and turn right onto the Hill Canyon Rd. The trailhead is less than a mile from Santa Rosa Rd.
