Late Summer Weekend in Traverse City

Come join me for a wine weekend in Traverse City, Michigan. Let's enjoy some late August time in Traverse City and go winery hoping via a Wine Bus Shuttle. This is a "total" pay as you go event where everyone makes their own hotel reservation (or shares with a friend) and buys their own wine bus tickets. Everyone who went in October 2023 had a blast so come join in the fun.

*Note: you all can make your own reservations and stay where you want... I just wanted to let you all know where I am staying.

The Plan for the weekend:
-August 22, 2025: Arrive in Traverse City in the afternoon and check into your place where you are staying
*Go to dinner as a group somewhere - reservations TBD

-August 23, 2025: 5-Hour Traverse City Wine Tour: 4 Wineries on Old Mission
*Buy your ticket here: August 23 @ 11am
**Ticket costs = $109.99:
- which covers tour guide, limo style bus with A/C and Yeti style cooler for customer's use...
-not included: wine tastings and gratuity to the driver - 20% recommended

-Make sure you select Saturday August 23 at 11am for the ticket
*Take a Lyft/Uber to the tour pickup location

*Note the wineries might change depending on availability but this what is currently listed.
*Return to place where you are staying to drop of wines purchased
*Go to dinner as a group somewhere - reservation TBD

-August 24, 2025: Check out of your location and head home

Food for the weekend:
-If staying at the same hotel, breakfast - provided by the hotel
- Lunches - munchies at the wineries
-Dinners - Friday & Saturday TBD - looking for suggestions)

The map location is for the hotel that I'm staying at - Spark by Hilton Traverse City; it is costing me $534 for the weekend.

The wine bus picks up at 1125 W Civic Center Drive, Traverse City Michigan (info comes with your ticket). If driving yourself (aka not taking a Lyft/Uber - go to Magic Shuttle Bus Tour Patron parking to park when you get there)

Suggested Dress Code: Smart casual, smart summer

Please update any RSVP changes no later than Friday August 15, 2025. If you are on the Waitlist, please update your RSVP to “Not Going” as soon possible if your availability changes or you’re unable to be on standby if an attendee drops out by or after 8/15/25. Please contact the Event Organizer with any pertinent updates after the cutoff date. Failure to do so may result in a warning and possible suspension/removal from the group after 3 infractions. Membership will also be evaluated if members consistently RSVP but later cancel (even within the appropriate amount of time).

• Waitlist Note: Often spots open up for the event the week leading up to the event, so even if an event is full, if you add yourself to the Waitlist, it is highly likely you will have a chance to attend.
