Nature Hike at Kensington Metropark

Join the Queer Outdoors as we get up close to birds and other wildlife on a leisurely hike at Kensington Metropark! This park has over 700 acres of forests, fields, fens and swamps.

Meet outside of the park’s Nature Center (4570 Huron River Parkway, Milford, MI 48381) at 10:30am and then we will venture out on one of the nearby trails where we may be able to spot sandhill cranes, great blue herons, great egrets and other birds and wildlife. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

Michigan Metroparks cost $10 per vehicle for a day pass if you don’t have an annual pass. Can’t wait to see you there!
