Details
Join Connor Wetzel-Brown, a naturalist/ecologist on another Boggy adventure! We will be focusing on Michigan's only deciduous conifer the Tamarack, Larix laricina, and hopefully be able to see their golden needles light up the bog! :) Also, we will be discussing the importance of Michigan Wetlands specifically a local Michigan Bog ecosystem and the many diverse carnivorous plants it contains.
Join us on October 4th from 10:30-12:00 for a moderate, autumnal hike! :) Meet at the Eddy Discovery Center at the Waterloo Recreation Area and we will head out to the bog trail from there. Please dress for appropriate weather and semi-wet to wet conditions. Dogs sre welcome to join. See you all there!
