Ever feel like it’s hard to find people who understand your way of seeing the world?
This first Quiet Signal gathering, intended for adults roughly 28–42, though the range is flexible, will be a small outdoor discussion circle for people drawn to quiet settings, thoughtful conversation, solitude, human nature, psychology, philosophy, poetry, and inner life.
The aim is to create a low-pressure space where people can speak carefully, listen without performing, and maybe recognize something familiar in one another.
Theme: Solitude, Inner Life & How People Interpret the World
This is a small pilot gathering, so the format will be simple and may be adjusted over time. We’ll use a few prompts to guide a structured but relaxed conversation. No expertise is required. Listening is fine. Passing on any question is fine.
The event is currently limited to 9 people so the discussion can stay small and grounded. This may expand slightly if there is enough interest and the format still feels manageable. Each attendee should RSVP individually; guests are not included for this first gathering.
The exact public meeting spot will be shared with confirmed attendees closer to the event.
Please consider bringing water and a portable chair or blanket, in case picnic tables or seating areas are unavailable.
Please plan to arrive on time, since the discussion will begin shortly after the listed start time.
This is a peer discussion circle, not therapy, crisis support, dating, networking, or a support group. Everyone attends voluntarily and is responsible for their own choices, conduct, and interactions. Please respect others’ privacy, boundaries, and differing viewpoints.
Weather / backup plan:
Since this is an outdoor gathering, weather may require a change of plans. If needed, the event may be moved to Sunday, June 14 or Saturday, June 20, depending on conditions and attendee availability. The location may also shift to a covered public area in or near the park, or to a nearby indoor public space. Attendees will be notified through Meetup messages ahead of time if anything changes.
