Mums & Matcha

Mums & Matcha
For the mums with too many tabs open.
Motherhood can be wonderful, rewarding, exhausting, overwhelming, and hilarious — sometimes all before 9am.
This gathering is for mums who would like to take a small break from the juggle and spend some time connecting with other women who understand what it's like to be raising children while also trying to maintain careers, relationships, friendships, hobbies, and a sense of self.
Come gather with us over great matcha in a beautiful setting — the famed Hello Arigato! We'll swap stories, talk about the things we're navigating, and hopefully leave feeling a little less alone in it all.
Date: Friday, 17th July
Time: 10:00am – 11:30am
Place: Hello Arigato (Bukit Timah – walking distance from Botanic Gardens MRT and Tan Kah Kee MRT)
Free to attend — simply purchase your own food and drinks from the café.
Please note that seating will be outdoors.
What to expect:
- Introduce yourself and anything else you feel comfortable sharing
- Share the realities of motherhood — the good, the difficult, and everything in between
- Talk about topics ranging from work and family to friendships, identity, parenting, and finding time for ourselves
- Meet women who are in a similar season of life
Whether you're:
- A new mum
- A mum of teenagers
- A mum of grown children
- Working full-time
- Running a business
- Taking a career break
- Somewhere in between
You're welcome here.
Maximum 10 women to keep the conversation intimate.
A few things to note:
- If you're unable to attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so that we can offer your spot to someone else. Unfortunately, repeated no-shows may need to be marked as such on Meetup.
- As this is a free gathering, there may occasionally be last-minute cancellations or no-shows. As a result, the final group size may be smaller than expected. We'll still be there and look forward to meeting everyone who attends.
- We'd appreciate it if you could arrive on time and purchase a drink and/or food from the café, as they are kindly reserving space for our group.
- Photos may be taken during the gathering for social media sharing. We'll always be happy to tag you if you'd like.
About The Rewilding
The Rewilding is a small, informal community where women come together to connect over the shared experience of modern womanhood — through conversation, books, films, learning, culture, and the many things we're all quietly trying to navigate in life.
Warm, welcoming, and low-pressure, our gatherings are designed for women who enjoy thoughtful conversation, meaningful connection, and curiosity about the world around them.
The Rewilding is rooted in a simple idea: that women need more opportunities to gather, reflect, learn, and connect with one another in ways that feel warm, thoughtful, and real.
