About us
The River Connection Paddler group is for kayakers looking for greater performance (and fun) from their time on the water.
Outings can be Instruction/Performance related or casual getaways. The tenor is dictated by the group dynamics.
The River Connection is equipped by our year round retail store The River Connection, Inc. carrying P&H, Valley, North Shore and Venture kayaks, paddles by Werner, Mitchell and Saltwood, gear and garb by Kokatat, Astral Designs, Stohlquist, Thule, Marco Kayak Saddles.
The River Connection programs are most often launched from our own private Boathouse/Harbor at 30 River Road, Hyde Park, NY at the Hyde Park Landing. This is where we house our Fleet of Demo/Instructional Kayaks and equipment. We also feature other programs elsewhere on the Hudson River as well as the Long Island Sound.

The Haney & Beck Memorial Paddle Run
Thomas Bull Memorial Park, 211 Rt-416, Hamptonburgh Town Of, NY, USClick : The Haney & Beck Memorial Paddle Run
The 5.1-mile paddle run is a family-friendly event that begins at Thomas Bull Memorial Park. Paddlers can paddle down the lazy Wallkill River at their own pace or, for those who choose to make it a competitive event, race down the river to Benedict Farm Park in Montgomery, NY.
The event will include food, LIVE music, raffles, and great prizes at Benedict Park. Awards will be given for first, second, and third-place finishers in several categories.
Proceeds benefit the Tri-County Community Partnership's Hope Not Handcuffs program, Tri-County Prevention Coalition, college scholarships, and other community youth prevention initiatives.
About the Tri-County Community Partnership, Inc. The Tri-County Community Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started in October 2016 that raises awareness of the risks of alcohol and drug use through prevention, youth prevention, family support, and drug dependency reduction programs. The organization and its programs operate in the Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties.Every donation goes directly towards our programs.
