Intermediate Cha Cha, 6 classes on Mondays from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, November 9th through December 14th. The Cha Cha dance and music also originated from Cuba. The music is quite energetic and percussive, therefore the dance steps have a syncopation to match the music. You can dance the Cha Cha to traditional Latin songs and also some country and current popular tunes from artists like Bruno Mars, Marc Anthony, Camilla Cabello, etc.
Dancers should have taken the Beginner Cha Cha classes or have been dancing Cha Cha before signing up for this class.
Singles and couples are welcome. Rotating partners is optional. You don't need to have a partner. Classes are taught by Maureen Hickey, professional ballroom dance instructor, as a session, not drop-in.
