Loc Nguyen is a JavaScript junky who enjoys building software teams and deploying great product experiences. He helped launch the first driverless cars in San Francisco at Cruise, leading internal and consumer teams. After selling his AI dating company, Loc joined the World Poker Tour, where he leveraged his experience building poker games to push forward US online gambling.
Now pursuing another startup, this time in AI games, Loc resurrects old poker code as a starting point. He’ll present his challenges and workarounds productionizing legacy code bases, touching topics like handling very old dependencies, running old and new code side by side, and adapting to changing standards.
This event is being hosted by our friends at the Bike Dog Brewing East Sac! There will be a food truck and beverages are available for purchase on-site.
