It's our Spy vs Spy Showdown, Face Off, Head to Head Match-up! Coming to you from behind the iron curtain is my entry into this contest, The Lives of Others (2006). I'm on a roll with the German films lately but I think I can safely predict that most, if not all of you will really like this one. Aside from all the accolades, including the Oscar win in 2007 for best foreign language film, this movie has a lot going for it. It's suspenseful, has meticulous attention to detail, and features fantastic performances. I'm very excited to revisit this one and look forward to the discussion!
