Maximizing Freshness, Minimizing Food Waste
Details
Just in “thyme” for Earth Day, Tonia Scherer from Seed St. Louis will be leading a class at Fresh Thyme Market at the St. Peters location on Maximizing Freshness and Minimizing Food Waste!
Come out and hear about how you can use strategic meal prepping, smart shopping, and food storage techniques to minimize your food waste. You will also receive food waste-reducing recipes along with information on small-scale vermicomposting to further minimize your food waste in any indoor space. After the class, you can pick up one of Seed St. Louis’ free planting calendars and learn how Seed supports local and community food gardens in the St. Louis region. (We will also be teaching this class at the St. Peters Fresh Thyme location on April 11th! Sign up here for that class.)
This class is free, but space is limited, so we ask that you please sign up.
