What facts of reality give rise to the concepts of virtues and vices?
This is a metaethical question. Let's examine the apparatus underlying virtues and vices in equipping the moral traveler in the actual adventure. We'll explore the roles of luck or accident, fortune or misfortune, chance or coincidence, etc. Along the way, we'll look at the nature of the obstacles and temptations that the moral traveler will surely has to confront in the adventure.
If we have time, we can revisit the distinction among the virtues, namely, the moral, the cardinal, the intellectual, the causal.
