Basketball Coaching with Kids Enjoy Exercise Now

Details
We will coach basketball practice for a great bunch of kids with disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. Each volunteer is paired with one kid and you help them with their shooting, dribbling, passing, and just generally having fun. The kids have a broad range of skills, so don't be intimidated if you're not the world's greatest basketball player.
The orientation is at 1PM and practice goes from 1:45 - 2:45 PM. We'll meet in the basement of the Embarcadero YMCA. There's some street parking in the area as well as the Equity Office Parking Garage on Howard Street, between Spear and Steuart.
Afterwards, we'll head over to the Ferry Building for some coffee and snacks. If you haven't been, definitely check it out. It's an incredible food emporium.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please sign up only if you intend to show up to the project, no shows impact this project greatly since athletes are paired with volunteers and need a one-to-one interaction.
