About us

The Search For More is a community for people who suspect there is more to human life than conventionally understood and who wish to explore that possibility through experience, discussion, and personal development.

Most people spend their lives focused on work, obligations, responsibilities, and the practical demands of daily life. Yet many people also carry a quiet feeling that there must be something more than what they have experienced so far.

This group is for those people.

The purpose of this group is not simply to talk about interesting ideas. The purpose is to create opportunities for elevated experiences, deeper understanding, meaningful discussion, and personal growth.

We will explore subjects such as human development, consciousness, meaning, purpose, ancient wisdom traditions, philosophy, symbolism, self-knowledge, and the deeper questions of life.

This group may be for you if:

  1. You believe there is some type of creative force.

It does not matter what you call it. It does not matter what tradition it comes from. You simply have a sense that there is something greater than ourselves, and that this force is ultimately constructive rather than destructive.

  1. You believe there may be some form of existence beyond the physical body.

Again, it does not matter what you call it. The point is simply that you feel there may be something more than the physical life we experience here.

  1. You believe human beings are meant to work together.

You have a sense that life is not simply every person for themselves. You believe life is, at least in part, about helping others, contributing something meaningful, and learning how to live in a better way.

Many people drawn to this work have a strong feeling that there must be more to life than what they have experienced so far. They feel there is something important still waiting to be discovered, understood, or lived.

If that resonates with you, this group may be worth exploring.

We are not affiliated with any religion, political movement, commercial self-help organization, or belief system.

Participants are encouraged to think for themselves, question assumptions, and draw their own conclusions.

The purpose is exploration, not conversion.

No one is expected to adopt any particular worldview.

Holden has spent more than 30 years researching these subjects, has traveled to 46 countries in search of a deeper understanding of life and elevated living, and has delivered more than 500 presentations and workshops.

His approach is based on a simple idea:

People need elevated experiences, not just interesting information.

At the heart of this work is the principle that people working, learning, and sharing together can create opportunities for personal growth that are difficult to achieve alone.

There is no single path to human development.

This path is simply one among many valid possibilities.

If these ideas speak to you, you are welcome to explore further.
