Let's Talk Restaurant Tech and Integration!

Details

Join the Bay Area's leading restaurant technologists as we gather together and discuss the ongoing evolution of the restaurant industry.

There's a lot to talk about...

• ParTech, Inc., owner of Brink POS, announced a new partnership with Omnivore, the cloud-based universal API.

• NCR just announced plans to integrate the DoorDash marketplace to Aloha POS.

• Toast POS just announced an integration with Paytronix, a leading provider of reward program solutions for restaurants and retailers.

Our hosts will again be Spaces SF (Mission and 3rd).
With additional locations in Menlo Park and San Jose, Spaces SF has become a great addition to the many co-working options in Silicon Valley.

Community Manager Geanna Borjas will hook you up with a free day if you'd like to check it out. Just email her at geanna.borjas@spacesworks.com.

We'll have presentations from...

Samuel Kim, Clover POS

Clover has created a community of merchants and developers, who work together to build solutions tailored for the diverse needs of restauranteurs. They built their tech from the ground up as a cloud-based, open platform to make it easy for merchants to securely share their data and simple for developers to process that info.Clover was founded in 2010 by developers to create software for incumbent POS systems. Initially, they were stymied by barriers to entry and inaccessibility of data, but now they're the industry leader in third-party integrations. With over 250 apps!

Samuel is going to tell us how he went from running food trucks and restaurants to being a developer who advocates for open-platform technologies in the food and retail industry.

And...

Dano Rogers, XtraChef

XtraChef started in 2014 by a bunch of restaurant industry veterans and software geeks with a passion to revolutionize the archaic process of managing food cost. They've developed there own OCR data extraction platform and customers love it. All you do is take a picture of an invoice and the app seamlessly changes that information into analytics that Chefs can use to increase productivity.

For the last seven years Dano has been immersed in the startup ecosystem and has served as an Advisor, Board Member and VP of Sales for a number of companies. He knows all about the early stage processes for growth and has accepted the challenge to expand XtraChef's reach to the West Coast. Dano is going to talk about the adversities you could expect to face when your company takes it's first steps outside of it's initial region and strives to reach a larger market.
