Making friends as an adult is… awkward. 😅
You see someone you'd probably get along with, but then comes the “Do I say hi?” “Would it be weird to ask for their number?” “Should I introduce myself?” “What if they think I'm weird?” → “Okay, I'll just go home.” Cycle.
Awkwardly Social is a relaxed, no-pressure space for people who want to meet new people, make genuine friendships, and actually have someone to text when they're bored on a Saturday.
No membership fees, no pressure to attend every event, and no expectation that you have to become best friends with everyone immediately.
Come to one meetup. Come to ten. Bring a friend. Come alone. Lurk awkwardly for the first 15 minutes. We genuinely don't mind. The whole point is to make that first step easier.
Because making friends shouldn't feel like a job interview.
You don't have to be super outgoing, the life of the party, or even particularly awkward.
You just have to be open to meeting people.
