About us

The Sketch Circle is a casual gathering of people who want to draw more, share their work, and support each other in the creative process. Whether you're just picking up a pencil for the first time or you've been sketching for years, this is a space where all skill levels are welcome. We meet regularly to draw together, chat about techniques, share what we're working on, and encourage one another without judgment. It's part art group, part support system—a place where the focus is on showing up and making something, not on being "good" at it.

Most of us started this group because we found that drawing is way easier and more enjoyable when you're doing it around other people who get it. We'll sketch from prompts, work from reference images, or just draw whatever's on our minds that day. The real value is in the community we're building and the accountability we give each other to keep creating. We talk openly about creative blocks, perfectionism, motivation struggles, and everything else that comes with making art.

You don't need fancy supplies, natural talent, or a finished portfolio to join us. Just bring yourself and something to draw with. If you're looking for a low-pressure creative outlet and a group of folks who genuinely support each other's artistic journey, we'd love to have you at The Sketch Circle.
