💃✨ SURGE FESTIVAL TAKEOVER — 1st AUGUST ✨💃

Ladies, mark your calendars and hydrate your livers (or your oat‑milk lattes) because we are OUT‑OUT… but in a wholesome, brunch‑first kind of way.

We’re kicking off the day with brunch at Browns (please see separate event on Meetup to sign up) — yes, I’ve secured a table, yes, there are only 10 spots, and yes, if you’re late you will be judged. Think boujee vibes, clinking glasses, and us pretending we’re classy before the chaos begins.

After brunch, we’ll toddle, strut, or wobble (depending on mimosa count) down to the SURGE Festival, where the Merchant City transforms into a full‑blown circus — and for once, it’s not because of us.

For those not coming for brunch we will meet at Merchant Square at 12:30pm

🎪 What’s happening on the day:

✨️SURGE Festival Madness — Wild street theatre, circus acts, and performers who look like they escaped from a glitter‑covered fever dream.

✨️Massive Street Carnival — Edinburgh Carnival + Project X + Merchant City = colour, drums, feathers, and us pretending we’re in Rio.

✨️ Street Markets — Vintage jewellery, pottery, crafts… and the Dockyard Social food stalls for when brunch “mysteriously” wears off.

🥂✨ BRUNCH BEFORE THE MERCHANT CITY FESTIVAL — 1st AUGUST ✨🥂 (Only 10 Spots)

Ladies, we’re starting the day the way all iconic days should begin: with brunch, bubbles, and bad behaviour disguised as “catching up.”

We’ve got a table booked at Browns, George Square — only 10 spots, so consider this your gentle reminder that punctuality is sexy and lateness will be judged with love but also side‑eye.

This is our official pre‑festival gathering before we head down to the Merchant City Festival to soak up street theatre, markets, carnival energy, and whatever chaos Glasgow throws at us.

Expect:

• Classy vibes (for the first 20 minutes)
• “I’ll just have something light” followed by dessert
• Loud laughter, louder gossip
• A group photo where at least one of us looks like a witness in a crime documentary
• Then a fabulous strut to the festival to continue the fun
