The Social Edit (Women Only Group)

Join us for a cosy and creative Crochet Workshop hosted by The Social Edit, perfect for beginners and those looking to brush up on their skills 🧶✨

We’re delighted to welcome Carrie from Southside Stitcher, who will guide you step-by-step through the basics of crochet in a relaxed, supportive setting. No experience needed – Carrie will be on hand to help every stitch of the way.

All materials are included, and you’ll get to keep the crochet hook and yarn you use, so you can continue your new hobby at home.

The workshop will take place at Moxy Merchant City, with Sally from Moxy kindly hosting us. There’s also a bar available, so you can enjoy a drink while you crochet and chat.

This is a lovely opportunity to learn something new, meet like-minded women, and enjoy a laid-back Sunday afternoon of creativity and connection.

The Social Edit Gals 💖

Join us for a relaxed stroll around Kelvingrove Park on Saturday 7th March and make some new friends along the way! We will meet at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery at 1PM. The walk itself is thought to take roughly 1hr - though this may be longer with breaks. We can then perhaps head to a cafe for a warming coffee, or maybe even visit the art gallery and museum.

This is a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air and get those steps in. A nice walk is a great mental health booster - and this trail offers some lovely scenery, including the River Kelvin.

Of course, the main focus of our events is to meet new people and socialise, so the pace will be gentle to encourage conversation while we wander. All abilities are welcome and the park is mostly flat terrain.
