Details

Walking meditation combines mindfulness meditation (focusing on what is happening now without judgment) with walking. Benefits include stress and anxiety reduction and increased health and balance. Those new to meditation are welcome.

We will begin at 10am with instructions for walking meditation. Then we each walk at our own pace around the Walk Jones Wildlife Sanctuary for 30min. Google Map directions

Afterwards, we return to the gazebo for tea. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mug. This is a time to discuss our meditation practice, life or just to catch up with one another.

The Social Sangha events are free of charge. Donations are welcome.
