Join us on the 13th of February for Social Friday: Dance and Groove Edition at Nairobi Street Kitchen from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
That's right, the night before all that soppy hearts and flowers day that you either love or dread! Whichever side you fall on, 13th February is the perfect Friday to go out on a social adventure, and this time, we're spicing it up!
The ticket (1,500 KES) is inclusive of:
2 glasses of wine (red, white, or Sangria)
or 2 beers
or 2 mocktails.
We'll kick off with a proper dancing class, where you can flow with the rhythm. Styles? Oh, we've got the lot: Salsa for those spicy Latin vibes, Kizomba and Semba for that smooth African sway, Bachata to get you all tangled up in the best way, Konpa for a bit of Haitian flair, and Afrobeat to shake things up a little bit. In other words, we'll have music that makes standing still feel like a personal failure.
After that, it's an open social dance session where you can groove, spin, and try out that new dance style you've just learned.
Not a dancing? No worries, we've got plenty of competitive board games perfect for socializing, and curated conversation cards that'll spark conversations that will flow smoothly without anyone resorting to awkward comments about the weather.
Come alone, bring a mate, or drag your better half. It doesn't matter!
And if you have two left feet, perfect! So do we, but we'll dance anyway!
