About us

We get together to talk about life's big questions over coffee. No lectures, no experts pretending to have all the answers—just thoughtful people asking each other good questions and actually listening to the responses. We'll explore whatever's on people's minds: What makes a good life? How do we know what's true? What do we owe each other? The idea is borrowed from the Socratic method, where real understanding comes from dialogue, not from someone standing at a podium telling you what to think.

You don't need a philosophy degree to join us, and we're not here to debate who's right and who's wrong. We're here because we find it energizing to sit with a hard question, hear how other people think about it, and discover that our own perspectives shift when we actually engage with different viewpoints. Whether you've thought about these things your whole life or you're just starting to wonder, there's a place for you at the table.

We meet regularly and keep the group small enough that everyone can participate. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your willingness to think out loud. If you're tired of small talk and hungry for real conversation, this is the group for you.
