Book Club Meetup #2 : Democracy in America

Join The Socratic Shelf, a book club for modern times, in a stimulating session focused on engaging discussion, deep-thinking and respectful discourse on society. Engage in thought-provoking discussions, knowledge sharing, and deep dives into the contemporary issues presented in the selected readings of our group.

For our second book, we analyze tome 1 of "Democracy in America" by Alexis de Tocqueville (1835). Please bring an open mind, your listening ears, and any questions/reflections/responses the book provoked in you. I will bring points of discussion and guiding questions to help provide structure.
