Each time Earth's moon reappears to its inhabitants, earthlings are uniquely positioned for somatic replenishment. The first visible sliver of moonlight bolsters our access to cyclical cosmic strength, and supports our bodies as we navigate our internal tides. Let's gather each New Moon to generate mindful embodiment and mutual support, and set or renew intentions for our somatic journeys.

Participants will be invited into the wisdom of their own unique explorations, and deeply encouraged to honor their body's requests above anything the facilitator offers. In this space, you are the only expert on your experience. The only non-optional practices are mindful presence, and kindness to self and others.

Our facilitator is a trained and experienced teacher of neuro-informed, trauma-sensitive embodiment practices including yoga asana, breathwork, and meditation. She is also an agnostic witch, whose offerings are grounded in the elements, and informed by lunar cycles and tarot pulls.

Because video meeting is a challenging medium by which to connect wholly and authentically, we ask that participants make the effort to be as present as possible in the digital space. Ideally, this means our cameras are on during group discussion, and that we are not dividing our attention with simultaneous activities. To help create brave spaces for the vulnerability of embodiment work, our digital gatherings are never recorded.

Myelinated Tarot is a participatory workshop to explore the cards, explore somatics, and inquire into their intersections. Each month's content varies. In this Solstice offering, we will invite in three Major Arcana archetypes: our Magicians, High Priestesses, and Hierophants. Working with these cards, we will bring body-based curiosity to our service as elemental containers, as energetic conduits, and as our own highest somatic authority.

Previous experience is not necessary! All "levels" of tarotist and somatics practice are welcome and honored here, and these workshops are curated with newcomers front of mind.

Our facilitator is a trained and experienced teacher of neuro-informed, trauma-sensitive embodiment practices including yoga asana, breathwork, and meditation. She is also an agnostic witch, who has conversed with the cards for over half of her four fleshed decades.
The Somatic Coven holds Tarot as an ever-evolving, nonhierarchical system for communing with archetypal wisdom, and uses decks that reflect queer, feminist, antiracist, anticapitalist values.

Comfortable clothing and a water receptacle are encouraged. Yoga mats or cushions are helpful: we will have some available or/and you are welcome to bring your own. Paper journals are invited. Attendees are welcome (not at all required) to bring an item to place on the group altar for the duration of our time together. We will ask that all phones and digital devices be entirely turned off and put away before entering the space; please be prepared for this.

A gathering to honor the fullness of each lunation and the wholeness of your somatic truths. Coupling yogic wisdom with agnostic witchery, these Full Moon circles are a space to nurture mindful embodiment, inspire lunar reverence, and generate supportive community.
