Zoom help for new Users
We've just started using Zoom Software (https://zoom.us/download) for some of our meetings. If you've not used it before this maybe helpful if you have any problems. Generally speaking Zoom works well for most people, so you shouldn't expect problems.
1. You can start a test meeting before you use it here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115002262083-Joining-a-Test-Meeting
You will have to click the button "Join" to enter the test meeting.
2. Testing the Audio - You can do this in the above meeting, or you can also do this by clicking "Setting" then select "Audio"

Starting 2025, with the paid for classes, students have to message me if they cancel a class that they had previously said they were going to. Students have to send that cancellation message before the end of that class, otherwise they are charged for the class.

Our walk starts at:-
Kingston upon Thames (South Western Rail & Buses) We'll Meetup outside the Rail station entrance, See main photo, there are lots of shops close by for toilets. We'll start at Midday or soon after. I'll try to post a Location Sharing link to help you keep track of me or catch up, especially if you're late to the start. The walk ends at:-
Hampton Court Station (National Rail & Buses 411,111,R68,216), and for those that want to, we can go to the local Stonebaked Pizza Shop for food/wind-down. Menu is in the PhotosAbout the walk.
Basically the walk is fairly flat with steps here and there, the surface is generally hard concrete/stone/tarmac/road/soil/grass etc. quite varied. I will try to put on the odd informal event so you can top up your English in the meantime.Sept 2023 New term classes back to normal, our next break will be for Christmas / New Year
Summer 2023 - Pub Visits & Walks
The online classes will return in September, in the meantime we will have informal English conversational practise with pub visits and walks once or twice a month
New Year to Spring 2023
Mondays and Fridays are still paid for classes - Other classes and events are normally FREE. The other events might include walks around London, visits to the Pub etc.

Summer 2022
Summer Holidays schedule - means no classes just English language practise
Normally, Classes are scheduled a few days before - so login regularly to check & RSVP ....
But we're in the summer holidays now so we're all enjoying the break - but you will able to practise your English conversation, so RSVP for those events now!
From Jan 2022
I hope to have classes on Mondays & Fridays but Friday's may simply be a repeat of Monday's and is primarily aimed those who missed the Monday class due to over-subscription.
Also during Jan & onwards 2021/22
I'll be giving you the option to pay a small fee of £2 for multiple classes (or £2.35 individually). For those that pay this, if you're on the "Wait List" I will move you into the class. Classes are normally limited to just four students, so it's 'first come, first served'.
