Join us for the first-ever South Downs Festival of Food and Fizz! This inaugural event is set to become an annual celebration, kicking off on June 8, 2024, from 12 PM to 5 PM. We're gathering in the picturesque medieval village of Cocking, right at the foot of the stunning South Downs (Cocking Village Hall, Bell Ln, Cocking, Midhurst, GU29 0HU).
Come and explore an array of delectable offerings from our vendors, each bringing something special to the table. From local sparkling wines, craft ales, ciders, and gins to gourmet sushi, wood-fired pizzas, and award-winning cheeses. Not to mention tempting bread, honey, exquisite sorbets, ice creams, chocolates, and premium herbs and spices to inspire your culinary adventures. The afternoon will be filled with fascinating talks from experts like Gusborne’s vineyard manager on regenerative viticulture; Brilliant Gin on the history of gin; and Bury Bees on beekeeping insights. If you're in the mood for some tunes, enjoy performances by Anouska Assisi, Get Catweasel and the Hench Collective, and Between the Lines.
