Sheffield Standup Social Club Open Mic Night

Whether you are a seasoned comic looking to sharpen new material or you have never touched a microphone before and want to try your hand at five minutes of stage time, our open mic night is a welcoming space to test the waters. We host these evenings to give the local comedy community a consistent place to connect, share jokes, and see what everyone is working on. It is a supportive, low-pressure environment where the focus is simply on getting up there and giving it a go.

If you are not interested in performing, you are just as welcome to come along as an audience member. The night is a great chance to hear some fresh writing and meet other comedy fans from across Sheffield. We keep things informal, so feel free to pull up a chair, grab a drink, and enjoy the show.
