What we’re about

Introductory message. Please read till the end. Staying in the group means you agree to our purpose and code of conduct.

Hello & welcome to our Improv group. Since you are here, you must be into comedy, self expression, improvisation, and generally having fun!
Here is a little intro and some rules to keep this place safe and enjoyable.

What is this group for?

We meet regularly to learn & practice a form of comedic improvisational theatre called The Harold (https://improvconspiracy.com/the-harold). This practice is open to any one of any level. Even if you are not into acting, Improv is known to help build confidence in social situations and connect more with one's self.

Code of Conduct

The tl;dr of all the following points is: be nice, respect boundaries, and have fun.

  1. This practice is open to all. We have zero tolerance to racism, sexism, or any discriminatory behavior.
  2. Respect your scene partners physical boundaries. Mime any physical action you want to perform and everyone will understand.
  3. Avoid political, religious, and too controversial topics. Improv is a team sport and your scene partner(s) will definitely disagree on polarizing topics. We will make sure we won't have ideological wars on stage, this is not what this practice is for.
  4. Unless you have verified credentials in Improv, don't give unsolicited notes to others.
  5. Have fun! Doing Improv is real fun, both in practices and in live performances. You will see!
