Theme: Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat

Join us for an online meeting themed "Blood, Toil, Tears, and Sweat", in honor of British politician Winston Churchill, who on this day in 1940 faced the House of Commons for the first time as prime minister and told the members that “I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.”

Members and guests will have an opportunity to share a short impromptu story related to the theme during the Tale Topics session.

The Silicon Valley Storytellers is a Toastmasters club, where members focus on story creation and delivery. Our members bring prepared speeches, or engage in story development exercises. It’s fun, lively, and entertaining!
