Welcome to The Sunday Morning Rock Hounding Social. This is a relaxed group for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors looking for interesting stones, minerals, and fossils. Whether you are a long-time collector with shelves full of specimens or someone who just likes picking up a pretty rock while out on a walk, you are welcome here. We meet up on Sunday mornings to share our finds, trade tips on local spots, and enjoy the quiet pace of a morning spent scouting the ground.

These gatherings are meant to be informal and low-pressure. We usually meet at a trailhead or a local park, spend a couple of hours walking and searching, and then grab a coffee or a bite to eat afterward to look at what everyone discovered.
