We believe in variety! Our events calendar is actively hosted and organised, so you never have to worry about wandering around looking for the group. We run social events year-round, tailored to the season:
🌲 Outdoor Adventures: Hiking Bristol, weekend walks, park picnics, coastal walks, and summer BBQs.
❄️ Winter Warmers: Cosy Sunday roasts, Christmas market visits, light trails, and festive socials.
🍻 Social & Nightlife: Live gigs, comedy nights, pub quizzes, and dinner clubs.
🎲 Laid-back Fun: Board game nights, cinema trips, bowling, speed friending, and coffee meetups.

90% of our members attend their first event solo. It can feel nerve-wracking to walk into a room of new people, but our hosts are there to welcome you, introduce you, and make sure you're part of the conversation immediately. There are no cliques here — just friends you haven't met yet.

To keep this space safe, fun, and high-quality for everyone, we have a few golden rules:
1. Platonic & Pressure-Free: This is strictly a social group, not a singles/dating event [unless explicitly specified]. We are here to make friends, not to hit on people.
2. Respect Boundaries: Please do not DM members you haven't met and connected with at an event.
3. Be Kind: We have zero tolerance for drama. We are here to lift each other up and have a laugh.
4. Content: We take and use photos/videos for content on social media at our events.

This is your soft landing — a free, no-pressure BBQ on Bristol's most iconic green space, designed specifically for the 600+ Super Socialisers members who've never made it to an event yet.
No awkward name badges. No forced icebreakers. No agenda. Just good food, great weather (fingers crossed), and a crowd of people who signed up for exactly the same reason you did.
The Downs is the backdrop. Bristol's skyline is doing the heavy lifting. All you have to do is show up.

This isn't a networking event dressed up as a BBQ — it's the real thing. There's no schedule to stick to, no requirement to socialise beyond your comfort level, and absolutely no pressure to be "on".
Bring a blanket if you've got one. Bring a friend if you want backup. Or just bring yourself — that's more than enough.
