Join Randy as we look for more wildflowers on Mount Diablo. We will hike on the Deer Flat, Burma Road, and Juniper Trails for some spectacular mountain and valley views, and definitely some more wildflowers. This hike will be about 4 miles, with about 500 feet elevation gain. We will stop for lunch at the end of the hike. No dogs are allowed on Mount Diablo trails. The park admission fee is $10 (car pooling is recommended, especially for those with California Park Passes, which have free admission). There are restrooms at the hike starting and lunch locations. With predicted sunny weather, we shouldn't have a problem with mud, and although hiking poles may be helpful, they aren't necessary for this hike.
Randy can be reached at 925-518-8439, in the event of any questions or coordination problems.

We will hike at an average to slower pace (25-30 mins per mile) so we can enjoy the experience while we get the heart pumping. Please update your RSVP if you can not attend, so as many people as possible can enjoy this hike.
