Mitchell Canyon easy evening hike and potluck

Join Bea for another evening hike and potluck afterwards. We will hike up Mitchell Canyon to the end of Red Road. This route follows Mitchell Creek, bringing to life a well-established riparian ecosystem. The hike will be under 4 miles, with about 300 feet elevation gain. This is a simple out and back hike . Dogs are NOT allowed at Mitchell Canyon or any state park. Parking is $6, bring cash for the gate or plan to use QR code to pay by building PAST the gate Wifi does not work well at the gate itself. Restrooms are available at the hike starting point. Hiking poles are helpful but not critical.
If you can please stay for our first evening potluck bring a snack or drink to share. There are picnic tables near the entrance.

We will hike at an average to slower pace (25-30 mins per mile) so we can enjoy the experience while we get the heart pumping. Please update your RSVP if you cannot attend, so as many people as possible can enjoy this hike.
