Session 1: Observability is the New QA: Shifting Right in the AI Era
Speaker: Jorge Gonzalez Pliego
Staff QA EngineerControlled test environments cannot reproduce every interaction that happens once a distributed application is in production.
In this session, Jorge Gonzalez Pliego will explore how QA teams can extend quality practices beyond pre-release testing by using observability as part of the testing strategy.He will cover how OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and real-time dashboards such as Grafana can provide visibility into production behaviour and help teams understand issues that may only emerge under real usage.
The session will also look at how observability can help teams identify signs of system drift and investigate potential failures earlier, rather than relying only on defects reported after something has already gone wrong.
Session 2: Understanding CI/CD with Live Examples
Speaker: Pramod K. Yadav
Engineering LeaderCI/CD is widely used across engineering teams, but the mechanics of an effective continuous delivery process are not always clear until you see the full workflow in practice.
In this session, Pramod will walk through CI/CD visually and demonstrate the process using a real-life application.He will show how a delivery pipeline can be built from start to finish and explain how Trunk-Based Development with feature flags can help teams separate deployment from feature release.
