Webinar on Cost Optimisation for AI Agents by Chandan Varshney
·OnlineOnline41 attendees from 22 groupsWe're excited to announce the upcoming TTTribeCast Webinar on "Fewer Tokens, Similar Results: Cost Optimisation for AI Agents" by Chandan Varshney
When is it happening? 22nd October 2026 | Thursday | 9:00 PM IST | 8:30 AM PT | 11:30 AM ET | 5:30 PM CEST
What will Chandan speak about?
## Fewer Tokens, Similar Results: Cost Optimisation for AI Agents
Your chatbot answers in one call. Your AI agent might make 20 calls for the same job, and re-read everything it has seen before each one. That's why agent bills surprise so many teams.
You'll walk away with:
✅ Why agent costs grow faster than the number of steps
✅ The six hidden cost drivers most teams miss
✅ Five practical ways to cut spend: caching, model routing, context trimming, budgets, and right-sized multi-agent designs
✅ A real-world example: a test-failure triage agent made 25× leaner
✅ Why cost per successful task beats cost per call
About the speaker:
Chandan Varshney is a seasoned Test Automation Architect with 16 years of experience designing enterprise-grade automation frameworks for web and API testing using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and Karate. He brings deep expertise in AI and ML-driven testing strategies to drive innovation and efficiency in QA.About The Test Tribe:

Testing for Secure and Responsible AI | 7th Dallas Meetup
25N Coworking, 9355 John W Elliott Dr #25, Frisco, TX, US7th Dallas Meetup – Testing for Secure and Responsible AI
Generative AI is becoming part of modern software systems, but testing AI introduces questions that go beyond traditional quality checks.
How do we test for security, reliability, privacy, responsible behavior, and human oversight when the system itself can behave in new and unexpected ways?At The Test Tribe’s 7th Dallas Meetup, Lekshmi Krishnan will explore how Test Engineering teams can approach Generative AI from both a security and responsible AI perspective — and how testing can help build greater confidence and trust in AI-driven systems.

Session – Testing for Secure and Responsible AI
Speaker: Lekshmi Krishnan
The session will explore the evolving role of software testing as Generative AI becomes increasingly integrated into software systems.
You’ll explore:
- Secure and Responsible AI – Key principles that matter from a testing perspective.
- AI-Specific Challenges – Security and reliability considerations that go beyond traditional testing approaches.
- Testing Across Layers – How testing and mitigation strategies can be applied at different layers of AI-driven systems.
- The Role of Test Engineering – How testing teams can contribute to building trust, security, and responsible behavior into Generative AI systems.
How This Meetup Solves Your Problem
- Traditional testing approaches aren't enough for AI systems? Explore the additional considerations introduced by Generative AI.
- AI security and reliability feel difficult to test? Understand the challenges that need to be considered.
- Responsible AI feels like a separate discipline? See how Test Engineering can contribute to responsible AI practices.
- You need greater confidence in AI-driven systems? Explore testing and mitigation approaches across different layers.
Why Show Up on 28 October?
- Because testing AI requires thinking beyond functional correctness.
- Because security, reliability, privacy, and responsible behavior all influence trust in AI systems.
- Because the role of Test Engineering is evolving as AI becomes part of software architecture.
- Because understanding where testing fits into responsible AI can help teams approach AI adoption more thoughtfully.
- Because building trust in AI starts with knowing what needs to be tested and why.

AI-Assisted Testing: From Prompt to Automation & Testable Design | 7th NA Huddle
·OnlineOnline23 attendees from 14 groupsAI can turn a plain-English test idea into executable mobile automation. The harder part is making sure the generated test follows team standards, remains reviewable, and still leaves the important decisions with the tester.
At The Test Tribe’s 7th North America Huddle, Srikanth Srinivas will demonstrate an AI-assisted mobile automation workflow using WebdriverIO, Appium, and a real Android device.
The second session looks at a different side of quality engineering. Vinitha Kalappurakkal will share how treating testability as an architectural problem helped reduce a retroactive billing process in a healthcare platform from approximately 72 hours to 3.5 hours while maintaining its quality and financial validation.
## Session 1
Prompt to Passing Test: AI-CLI-Driven Mobile Automation
Speaker: Srikanth Srinivas
Srikanth will demonstrate how an AI command-line assistant can take a plain-English testing idea and turn it into an asserting mobile test using WebdriverIO and Appium, then execute it on a real Android device.## Session 2
From 72 Hours to 3.5: A Quality-Driven Redesign of Retroactive Billing
Speaker: Vinitha Kalappurakkal
A retroactive billing process in a healthcare platform was taking approximately 72 hours at full production volume. Its core calculation was tightly coupled with invoice generation, making independent testing and validation difficult.
Vinitha will share how separating the retroactive calculation into its own stage made the process easier to verify and reduced processing time to roughly 3.5 hours.## Event Details
