This is something I have been wanting to do for a long time. I LOVE learning, and I love people oozing with affinity, so of course they go together symbiotically with a community as amazing as this!
So here's how it works: I want you to pitch me ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING! (within PG limits of course :D)
Make a Google Slideshow about any subject that you think deserves recognition, and you will present it to a wonderful little crowd of loving peers. No stakes, no winners/losers obviously, just you showing us what you're passionate about :)
For example: I love sharks, and I would pitch to you all why they are the most beautiful creatures. I also love Godzilla, planes, birds, esoteric film, (so much more) and all of those would make incredible presentations!
In terms of timing: I will be setting a SOFT timer with everyone for around 10 minutes. I will never say TIME! at the 10 min mark, I'll do more of like the music queue at the Oscar's (hehehe), but even then I think we will all be okay with one that goes a little over. All I ask of you is to send me the slideshow you would like to present, and then I will prep the rest : )

I'm thinking it should be around two hours. Tentatively it will be Wednesday night at 7pm, hopefully that works for everyone, BUT if it doesn't I am more than happy to change the date!
