About us
I wanted to do more things, experience more of life, and meet people along the way. The problem? I didn’t already have the built-in friend group to do those things with. So instead of waiting for one, I decided to start going anyway and extend the invitation.
The Third Place Society is for women who want to get out, experience something different, and build genuine connections while making a little more room for themselves outside of work, family, and everyday responsibilities.
I’ll plan things I genuinely want to do: exploring picturesque towns, museums, bookstores, creative workshops, coffee and conversation, markets, good meals, virtual gatherings, and whatever else sounds worth experiencing.
The invitation is simple: if something interests you, come along!
Especially while we’re new, you don’t need to already know anyone or feel like you’re joining an established circle. Come by yourself. Try something new. Introduce yourself. Meet the women who are there.
But the hope is bigger than a collection of outings. I’d love for us to begin recognizing faces. To remember what someone told us the last time we met. To look forward to seeing one another again. To eventually have women we can text, “Are you coming?” because actual relationships have begun to form.
That’s what I want The Third Place Society to become: a recurring place for women to explore, experience life, and become known along the way.
