Now that we’ve talked about the importance of seeing objective and subjective truths more clearly, let’s talk about how we can use this knowledge to make better decisions (wisdom).
I’d argue right action comes in two parts, prioritized steps. First we must try our best to complete step one. Once accomplished, we can move on to step two:
- Step 1: Minimize significant unnecessary harm
- Step 2: Increase happiness and decrease harm for those we can influence, prioritizing those we can influence the most
