After reading Kant's Third Critique this year there is continued interest in seeing how the faculties are brought together through that work. Looking at Friedrich Schiller's letters will allow us to see how a contemporary of Kant may have reflected on the matter using what he took to be Kantian principles. Particularly, Schiller is looking at how developing the individual both morally and aesthetically can harmonize the individual.

We will be reading the work in two weeks:

Week 1: Letters I - XV
Week 2: Letters XVI - XXVII
