The Touch Grass Book Club

Do you love nature, books, and books about nature? Do you want an excuse to touch grass, talk about the outdoors, and tap into your inner Mary Oliver by doing some nature writing of your own? Then you might enjoy the Touch Grass Book Club, a book group that will meet in Prospect Park to discuss all things nature and place-based writing before exploring the park to observe and write about the world in real time. The first meet-up will be on November 1, and we'll be discussing Mary Oliver's essay collection Upstream. Bring your journals, your sense of wonder, maybe a pair of binoculars. Light snacks will be provided.
