First Sunday of the Month discussion: Everything is INTERPRETATION

Details

Every first Sunday of the month, Ronald Green hosts a discussion attended by people from many countries. We discuss a range of philosophical issues that may include history, science, art, psychology, sociology, and more. The mix of international attendees and ideas from various countries makes for lively (and sometimes controversial) discussions.
The meetings are for the curious open to new ideas and willing to share. And also for those who just want to listen.
This time we will dig into the ins and outs of interpretation, exploring what it is and why it is so ubiquitous. Is interpretation an ontological system or an epistemological one? Is interpretation part and parcel of what there is, or is it a hovering psychological experience that impinges and interferes with reality?
Language, culture, the arts, science... are just some of the disciplines that are touched by the shadow of Interpretation.
Delving into the topic of interpretation raises deep questions about the reality of truth, fact, and reality itself.
Very much looking forward to having you joining us.
