Join us for an intimate, in-person pre-launch gathering in celebration of the book Ancestral Wisdom: Sacred Stories of Contact, Healing, and Care, a deeply rooted anthology of healing stories from around the world.

Hosted in the heart of Maya Candle Co’s sacred space, this evening will be a soft landing for the soul — a time to connect, reflect, and honour the powerful role of ancestor ritual and reverence in our personal and collective journeys.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore ancestral connection or you’ve been walking this path for some time, this encounter offers grounding, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of how ancestral work can support healing at the personal, family, and collective levels.

This event will be a rare chance to gather in community before the book’s official launch in June, to feel into the stories, the medicine, and the sacred responsibility of tending our lineages.

About the Book:
Created over three years of collective tending by members of the Ancestral Medicine network, Ancestral Wisdom: Sacred Stories of Contact, Healing, and Care brings together voices from across four continents, offering a tapestry of relational belonging, Earth reconnection, and ancestral healing. This book was published by the Woodruff Library of Atlanta University Center in collaboration with Pressbooks, an open-source platform, to support broad community engagement and share these teachings in service, not for profit.

About the Speaker:
Michelle Ayn Tessensohn is a healer and contributing author to Ancestral Wisdom: Sacred Stories of Contact, Healing, and Care, a practitioner and mentor in the Ancestral Medicine network, who brings deep reverence for the unseen, holding space for transformative encounters with the wisdom of the ancestors. She invites a return to belonging—within ourselves, our lineages, and the more-than-human world. She speaks with clarity, compassion, and a deep commitment to healing across time.
