This is for curious people who aren’t experts, but simply want to understand more. We’ll read a book each month, meet for relaxed discussions over coffee or drinks, share perspectives, ask questions, and connect the dots together.

For our first book club, we’re reading Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall — a look at how mountains, rivers, borders, seas and other geographic realities have shaped countries, conflicts and global power.

You don’t need to be a history or geopolitics expert (nor am I) Come with your questions, perspectives and curiosity!

We’ll have a relaxed discussion about what surprised us, where we agree or disagree with the author, and whether geography really has as much influence on our world as we think.

☕ No expertise required — just read the book and come curious. No judgements if you aren’t able to finish the book! Come with your ideas and thoughts!
