Optimistic Nihilism Social Club

The Enzian Theater is hosting the Central Florida Film Slam on May 17th! They show a series of local short films and then we get to vote on the winners! https://enzian.org/index.php/film/central-florida-film-slam

It technically starts at 12pm but I recommend getting there early for best seating. We will try our best to get tables close together so members can sit nearby but seating preferences are not always guaranteed (they do restaurant style tables instead of theater seats). Tickets are on sale now for $15 after fees. We plan on meeting before the event, hopefully getting seats together, and then possibly going out for ice cream or coffee after to discuss the films.

Meet the group! This a great chance for new group members to mingle and get to know everyone. This place is awesome because: free parking, free pool, free table tennis, and free board games! They also have darts and pinball available.

Something about Mochi just screams optimisim😂 Let's talk Optimistic Nihilism over sweets! I'll update the discussion with some suggested literature, videos and podcasts if you would like to read beforehand. There is no requirement to read beforehand, everyone will just get a chance to learn from eachother and talk about our favorite philosophy.

Time changed to 3:30pm I'm going to get some bunches of floral and greenery and I have some small vases, take a chance at arranging your own flowers! I'm just going to find cheap but beautiful flowers and we can talk over flowers and coffee. This event is for anyone in our meetup group, you could make the gift for yourself or for someone else. The cafe has seating restrictions and we also have a limited number of flowers so please keep in mind if you arrive later we may not have supplies left (but you can still join the conversations and hang out!).

*note the flowers will not be the same as the photo, and everybodys vases will be small holding probably 4 or 5 flowers each. All of our groups events our free and the only goal is to be social, but since I'm buying some flowers for this one if you wanna bring a couple bucks to donate back for the flowers I will always appreciate it😊
