Dallas Opera: “People’s Choice Concert” - FREE event

“The Dallas Opera’s 2025/2026 Season opens with a spectacular free concert. If you’re new to opera, this 60-minute performance of famous arias is the perfect introduction to the artform in the iconic Winspear Opera House. Get a taste of opera and The Dallas Opera’s upcoming season with the cast of TDO’s upcoming Carmen production sing selections from the opera, as well as music from Mozart, Donizetti, and Bernstein. As always, the audience will vote for the encore.

Taking the stage are internationally celebrated singers from the cast of Carmen: mezzo- soprano Marina Viotti, soprano Diana Newman, mezzo-soprano Kirsten Choi, tenor Matthew Goodheart, and baritone Kyle Miller. Conductor Paolo Bressan leads The Dallas Opera Orchestra; hosted by Ian Derrer, The Dallas Opera’s Kern Wildenthal General Director and CEO.”
