Opera in the open - Donizetti Gala

This is a free event organised by Dublin City Council every year. I don't know much about this composer but I've listened to a few excerpts online and they sound very good. He's known for being very prolific composer often composing operas in a matter of weeks. We can meet for tea/coffee beforehand. I've chosen the chorus cafe bistro with the address described in the event page. It gets very good reviews.

The actual event is at the wood quay amphitheatre starting at 1pm. Alternative address is civic offices amphitheatre. Weather outlook is no rain at the moment but keep an eye on the weather if that's important. There are seats but we would need to get to the amphitheater early-ish. If we leave the cafe around 12.30 it should be fine. I'll bring a blanket in case we have to sit on the grass. Bring snacks and drinks for the show if you wish. Can people let me know if ye are meeting in the cafe before the event. It will be easier to meet there and walk down together.
