The Big Gay Picnic: Howl-O-Ween Edition

Mother Nature changed the venue, not the vibe. 🌧️😂

Due to Sunday’s weather, The Big Gay Picnic’s annual Howl-O-Ween gathering is moving from Balboa Park indoors to The Brass Rail in Hillcrest!

We’re keeping the Howl-O-Ween picnic energy going with live music, gaming, costumes, community, food, prizes and plenty of familiar BGP faces.

🎮 GAMING
San Diego Gaming is bringing live gaming, tabletop games + a free tournament with prizes.

👻 HOWL-O-WEEN COSTUME CONTEST
Costumes + gear encouraged! Come spooky, leathery, furry, puppy, goth — or just come as you are.

🐻 COMMUNITY
Bears San Diego is still leading the Howl-O-Ween fun, joined by Leather, Pup, gaming, LGBTQ+ and community organizations who rallied with us for the indoor edition.

🎁 GIVEAWAYS + PRIZES
We’ll still have plenty to give away throughout the afternoon.

🍴 FOOD / POTLUCK
Bring something potluck-style if you’d like, grab takeout, or check out Crest Cafe next door for food options.
